I've been looking to dig up some old posts of mine from a forum that went belly-up not long ago. I managed to find the site archive in the wayback machine, but the site requires one to be logged in before browsing posts. For some reason, I can't log in; the site doesn't recognize that I've typed anything. Even the search box doesn't work, it gives an error message as though the field were blank. Can someone help me?

'active' websites that work with javascript or databases are not archived in waybackmachine or archived only partially. in your case, only one (publicly available) page is archived. anything beyond log-in window could not be reached by search bot. forums are usually not archived too.
